Intelligent Insect Monitoring System - i2MS

A market-readiness project focused on evolving the i2MS trap, product architecture, and software layer into a stronger commercial offer for demonstrations, pilot deployments, and pre-sale activities.

Overview

This workplan focused on helping i2MS move from an early-stage prototype toward a product that could be demonstrated, refined, and positioned for first orders. The project linked mechanical development, mold preparation, software evolution, and commercial readiness into one practical roadmap.

The goal was not only to improve the physical trap, but also to strengthen the supporting data and software environment so the company could present a more complete and credible solution to clients, partners, and early adopters.

Impact

The expected result was to support the manufacture of the first 100 units used in the demo farm, feed the database and ML process, and help transform the i2MS system into a stronger beta product.

That beta stage would in turn support the first pre-sale demonstrations and future supply to early customers.
